The Bridge Mural

This piece is located in The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center, on the edge of Downtown Dallas. The mural is meant to bring tranquility and comfort to the viewer. This artwork marks the Dallas Maverick’s dedication to strengthening underprivileged communities.

This piece is a “sister” to another mural located in Vickery Meadow; a piece that was created by Jacob Johnstonbaugh, a senior graphic designer at the Mavs. The colors were were changed and the trees were given slightly different shadow treatment. Furthermore, additional animals were created. A general sense of calmness connects both murals and they both exist to encourage growth within their respective communities.
